The Kansas State University Golf Course Management & Research Foundation (KSUGCMRF) Corporation’s general purposes include, but are not limited to:

  • The promotion and advancement of golf course management and research for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes
  • Operating a golf course, Colbert Hills, to be used by Kansas State University’s men and women’s collegiate athletics golf programs
  • The solicitation of contributions for the endowment of scholarships for the K-State Golf programs

Colbert Hills Donor Programs

The Founder and Benefactor Clubs were created to honor those who believe in the concept of a world-class championship course in Manhattan, Kansas with direct ties to Kansas State University and who are leadership donors willing to provide financial support to make Colbert Hills something very special. 

Benefactors Club

The Colbert Hills Benefactor program was created to complement the Founders Club. It can also be used as the first step toward becoming a Founder.  The contribution needed to be a Benefactor is $50,000 with a maximum pledge period of five years.

 

The Benefactor benefits during the five year period include unlimited golf privileges for donor and guest, recognition at the facility, invited to annual Founders social events, preferential tee times, eligibility for league play, and tax deductions.

Founders & Junior Founders Club

The Colbert Hills Founder and Junior Founder programs were created to honor those who believe in the concept of a world-class championship course in Manhattan, Kansas with direct ties to Kansas State University and who are willing to provide major financial support to make the facility something very special.

 

The contribution needed to be a Founder is $150,000 with a maximum pay period of ten years. The qualification to become a Junior Founder is 39 years of age or below with a $100,000 commitment over ten years. Once the Junior Founder turns 50 years old, they must make a decision whether to continue the Founders program with another $50,000 contribution over five years.

 

The Founder benefits include lifetime golf privileges for donor and guest, permanent recognition at the facility, invited to annual Founders social events, preferential tee times, eligibility for league play, and tax deductions.
